Recycled Bird Houses made from either recycled barns or houses, or from sawmill leftovers. Even the cleanout is recycled, made from reused rainspouts, aluminum siding, or venting. Each birdhouse is different and unique. Handmade by our craftsman in Cass, West Virginia.
Goldfinch House
Place at feeder height, 4-12 feet high. Goldfinches eat dandelions, sunflowers, coreopsis, purple coneflower, serviceberry, birch, hornbeam, sweet gum, mulberry, hemlock, elm, and alder. Goldfinches also nest later in the season, late June to September, preferring to raise their young on the ripening thistle. Birdhouse hole is 1-1/2 inch. House easily opens on the bottom to clean out old nests at the end of the season.
Note: Birdhouses are made from solid wood and are therefore heavy. This requires extra shipping charge.
