Recycled Bird Houses made from recycled wood. Made from either recycled barns or houses, or from sawmill leftovers. Even the cleanout is recycled, made from reused rainspouts, aluminum siding, or venting. Each birdhouse is different and unique. Handmade by our craftsman in Cass, West Virginia.

Black-capped Chickadee House
Place in trees 5-15 feet high. Hole is 1-1/8 inch. Because Chickadees commonly nest in natural or abandoned cavities, or excavate their own cavities, a few wood chips on the nest box floor are suitable. Remove the nest after the brood rearing seasons are over. Black-capped Chickadees are year round residents in many areas and might take advantage of northern winter warming roosts. Birdhouse easily opens on the bottom to clean out old nests at the end of the season.
